The American Culinary Federation (ACF) awarded Cura Executive Chef top honors with a well-thought-out seafood dish at the Annual Senior Living Challenge. A lot of us have mixed memories of grandparents in nursing homes. In fact, the term “nursing home” itself can be triggering for some of us. That’s something senior living communities and the teams that feed them have been working to change for decades, both in reality and perception. Chef Robert has a similar “nursing home” story about his own grandmother, and that’s how he got into the senior living dining field!
