The Rehab Center and Memory Care at Bristol, a 120-bed community with full-service skilled nursing, long-term care, rehabilitation, and assisted living memory care specialization is proud to announce a new partnership with Cura Hospitality, a leading senior living culinary specialist. Services will begin on February 1st.
Cura is sought out by continuing care retirement communities and healthcare facilities for its experienced leadership, high-quality food, and Completely Satisfied, an industry-leading customer service platform that focuses on each patient’s specific health and nutritional needs.
Cura’s commitment to resident satisfaction increases financial outcomes for clients. “While enhancing resident satisfaction is our top priority, we deliver a well-executed dining and nutritional program that increases census and profitability,” says Cura Vice President Julie Mancuso.
Cura’s culinary team will be led by Director of Dining Services Michael Reitz who will present a new and healthier menu foundation specifically crafted for long-term care, assisted living, and rehabilitation residents. Prepared fresh, Cura’s high-quality meals will be plated in front of the residents and served either in the dining rooms, country kitchens or personally delivered to create a “resident-focused” dining experience.
Cura offers several signature programs that increase dining dignity and resident health including Connections, a memory dining concept that supports individuals with dementia and/or cognitive issues. Connections offer specific methodologies to aid food service team members meet mealtime challenges. These tools help to stimulate engagement, appetites, and caloric nourishment!
Other programs such as Handcrafted Delights, replace chemically enhanced juices and supplements with real foods. While Puree Creations transforms pureed food into real food that appeals to the senses!
A dedicated Cura dietitian will also be onsite, routinely meeting with medical staff and caregivers to design food choices that help speed the healing process.
