THANK YOU Cura Team Member for Act of Heroism

  • Published November 15, 2023
  • | Community
Thank you to Aaron Payton, Cura Hospitality dining services team member at the Sisters of Charity of Cincinnati in Mount St. Joseph, Ohio, for his act of heroism, bravery, and compassion!
In a letter sent to Cura and the Sisters of Charity of Cincinnati leadership Fallon Lane-David, associate director of human resources at the Sisters expressed the following “An incident unfolded in our employee dining room where one of our colleagues, Chaplain Bill Tonnis, was choking, unable to breathe. Two of our dedicated coworkers attempted to assist using the Heimlich maneuver, but Aaron Payton from Cura stepped in and made an incredible difference.  This inspiring incident reminds us of the importance of supporting one another, especially during times of crisis. It also highlights the strength of our community and our shared commitment to kindness and teamwork. I invite you to join me in extending our heartfelt gratitude to Aaron for his extraordinary response. His actions set a shining example for all of us and reinforce the values that make our Sisters of Charity family so special!”
We value our team members who go above and beyond.  Cura leadership is extremely proud of Aaron!
